Jonty Lunson Claims Singapore Open Amateur by one over a surging Harrison Gomez

Australian fires 17-under 267 at Singapore Island CC to edge his fellow Australian, who posted a tournament low 64 in the final round

Jonty Lunson converted seven top-10 finishes into his first ranked title of 2026, holding off fellow Australian Harrison Gomez by one stroke to capture the Singapore Open Amateur Championship at Singapore Island Country Club's Bukit Course.

Lunson posted rounds of 66-68-66-67 to finish at 17-under 267, one clear of Gomez, who closed with a six-under 64 to finish at 16-under 268. The margin held despite Gomez's charge — the Greg Norman Junior Masters champion carded 30 on the back nine Friday but couldn't erase Lunson's cushion.
