Asia-Pacific Amateur: Fifa Laopakdee leads Cooper Moore by two after wind-battered second round

Fifa Laopakdee remains on course for a rare successful title defence at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, but three New Zealanders have put themselves in position to challenge him on home soil.

The Thai golfer takes a two-stroke lead over Cooper Moore into the weekend at Te Arai Links’ South Course after a second round played in winds reaching 35 mph. Ryan Xie sits third, with Zack Swanwick climbing into fourth after producing the day’s lowest round.
