The Bear Creek Women's Golf Association is a golf league for all ages. You must have a GHIN Handicap Index of 40 or less to be a member. The ladies play every Monday morning through the year. Our official league dates are the second week of September thru the last week of April. We play the Bear Course, Par 71, 4,990 yardage from the Red Tees. The IGA is a self-funded, fun group of individuals who love the game of golf for its personal challenge and competition. The IGA is open to Intel employees, friends, and families of all skill levels. Members are able to establish and maintain a USGA compliant handicap that allows them to compete with players regardless of skill level. The Ironwood course, rated #7 nationally in short courses by GolfNow, offers 5,100 yards of challenging golf, winding through lush grounds with two water features, two par-5's, seven par-3's, and nine par-4's making for a fast, rewarding round of golf for players of all skill levels. The Ironwood Men's Golf Association (IMGA) has an event each Tuesday playing a variety of team and individual games each week. There is a morning and afternood start. You may choose whichever fits your schedule best that week. Membership is open to anyone who is eligible to purchase an annual membership or punch card for the Ironwood Golf Course in Sun Lakes, Arizona (IronOaks member 40+ required). Members from outside of Sun Lakes are allowed (55+ required). Membership in IMGA requires joining the Arizona Golf Association (AGA). Handicap only memberships are accepted. The Ironwood Ladies Golf Association (ILGA) is a fun, 18-hole golf league. All ladies of Sun Lakes are the surrounding communities that are 40 years of age or older are welcome to join our league. Men's club plays at Sunbird Golf Resort on Thursday mornings between October and May. There are a variety of games played weekly during the season. There are golf activities available during the summer for members in the area. Membership is open to men in and around the Sunbird area. Members must have a USGA handicap. Membership is required to participate in golf events. Pairings are handled by the tournament committee. Members may have a non-member guest twice a year. Members pay $5.00 per event entered. SunBird Womens 18ers is open to all women golfers who are residents of SunBird Golf Resort and at least 50 years of age. Non Residents of SunBird are accepted when sponsored by a member in good standing. Sign up by Friday for Tuesday play. A variety of formats and games are organized November through April. A monthly meeting and luncheon are held the first Tuesday of the month November through April. We invite and welcome new members!
