Addisyn Newman and Alli Troxell
Addisyn Newman and Alli Troxell successfully defended their title at the 31st Tennessee Women’s Four-Ball Championship, combining for rounds of 63-67 to finish at 12-under 130 and cruise to an eight-shot victory at Cattails at MeadowView in Kingsport.
The high school duo began Wednesday with a three-shot advantage and steadily pulled away. Newman, a junior at Hardin Valley Academy, provided the decisive stretch late in the round. She birdied the par-3 12th before making eagle at the 275-yard par-4 13th, all but putting the championship out of reach.
