Stefi Markovich capped a dominant summer season by winning the Ontario Senior Women's Championship at Bridgewater Country Club, closing with a 3-under 69 to edge Mary-Ann Hayward by a single stroke.
Markovich, a member at Lookout Point Country Club, posted rounds of 76-70-69 to finish at 4-under 215. Her final-round charge proved just enough to hold off Hayward, who signed for 70-73-73 to finish at 3-under 216.
