Hayes Brown and Bradford Tilley both shot one-over-par 141 to share medalist honors in the Crump Cup at Pine Valley.
After a 68 on Thursday, Brown shot 73 on Friday. Tilley closed the two-shot gap between him and Brown with a 71 in the second round. Hayes was the only player in the Open Division to record an under-par round.

In the chase for a spot in the Championship Flight, Scott Strickland nabbed the No. 16 seed with a 36-hole score of 149. There was a clean cut without any ties. Brad Nurski missed out by a shot and will be the No. 1 seed in the 2nd Flight.
After the 36-hole qualifying, the top 48 players move on in three 16-player flights.
In the Senior Flight, Bob Royak and Tommy Brennan shot 146 to earn co-medalist honors. The top 8 players qualify for the Championship Flight. There are two Flights in the Senior Division. Royak is the No. 1 ranked player in the AmateurGolf.com Senior Rankings.
Randy Haag, the No. 1 ranked player in the AmateurGolf.com Super Senior Rankings, shot rounds of 78-74 to earn the 7 seed in the championship flight and will look to represent the Super Seniors this weekend.
He will take on No. 2 seed Thomas Brennan, and as a two-time Crump Cup champion (2000, 2002), The Olympic Club member Haag will look to make a run
Matches will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
