Caolan Burford turned the Welsh Amateur Championship final into a rout Friday, defeating Thomas Williams 8 & 7 to claim the title at Prestatyn Golf Club.
The eighth seed turned in a dominant performance across the 36-hole final, closing out the match on the 29th hole. Williams, the seventh seed, never found an answer as Burford seized control early and never let go.
