Bryan Newman cruises to five-shot victory at South African Stroke Play

Bryan Newman's opening 62 at Humewood Golf Club effectively settled the South African Amateur Stroke Play Championship before most of the field had found its rhythm.

The Johannesburg native and Arizona State sophomore followed with a second-round 66 to build a cushion that proved insurmountable, then closed with a 74 to win by five strokes at 14-under 202.
