We are a group of golfers located primarily in Santa Barbara County, with the desire to play competitive and fun rounds of golf at some of the great courses in the Tri-County area! We have one tournament a month including a club championship and match play championship each year. Shoot us a note if you have any questions!
Los Paisanos is based at Santa Barbara Golf Club, the excellent Santa Barbara municipal golf course, and is a home-and-away club, playing two tournaments a month - one at SBGC, and one at an away course usually within a 90-mile radius north and south of Santa Barbara. We are fun group with mixed ages and handicaps. We play two tournaments a month - one away travel tournament mid-month and one home tournament on the last Sunday of the month at Santa Barbara municipal golf course, our home course. Individuals who are members of other SCGA clubs may play in our tournaments for $10 and the regular tournament fee. Green fees paid separately.
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Santa Barbara (previously known as EWGA-SB) invites you to hold your SCGA Handicap membership through our SCGA club. You must first be a member of LPGA Amateurs - Santa Barbara before you can join or renew your SCGA membership in our club. LPGA Amateur Golf Association is a national golf organization. We connect women to learn, play, and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Our local SB chapter hosts monthly 18-hole fun events, golf education events/content, and competition opportunities for women in the southern Central Coast area. Special pricing for seniors, military, and renewals. The $36 cost of your SCGA membership is independent of your annual LPGA Amateurs fee. If you are a member of LPGA Amateurs SB and you would like to join/renew your SCGA membership through us, just login to SCGA and join/renew online. You will pay your $36 SCGA fee through the SCGA online payment system. The Santa Barbara Men's Golf Club plays tournaments at least twice a month. Every third Sunday and the previous Monday at the beautiful Santa Barbara Golf Club. The club has gross/net/team competitions, skins side games, and Hole-In-One pots that pay out if you make a hole in one during an event! Our Club also offers special events including: Annual 2-day Club Championship, The President's Cup (Match play tournament), Thanksgiving "Turkey Shoot" tournament and more! SBMGC also has a traveling SCGA Team-Play team that plays league matches against fellow Southern California golf clubs. Membership privileges include: Preferred tournament tee-times for all Men's Club events, Membership in the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), USGA sanctioned Handicap Index issued by the SCGA, Subscription to SCGA's FORE magazine, and more! Regular Wednesday golf at Santa Barbara Golf Club. Membership includes assured tee times on Wednesday, provided that you sign up in advance, and an optional add-on membership to Women's Public Links. All women golfers are welcome. Regular Wednesday golf for women of all levels and ages. We play at the Santa Barbara golf club each week. "Fun" tournaments for most events but we also have Club and Senior Championships that qualify for progression to SCGA events.
