Sakura Watanabe wins California State Fair Women's Championship

Sakura Watanabe of Roseville, Calif., captured the California State Fair Women's Championship, finishing at 3-under 141 for a one-shot victory at Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course.

Watanabe entered the final round tied for the lead after opening with a 1-under 71. She followed it with a 2-under 70, which proved enough to separate herself from Kiana Briggs and secure the championship.
