Keith Holmes
Keith Holmes began Wednesday unsure whether his shoulder would allow him to compete. By the end of the afternoon, he had turned a close contest into a five-stroke victory.
Holmes, of Macon, Ga., closed with a 1-under 71 to win the seventh Society of Seniors National Super Senior Championship at Crown Colony Country Club in Lufkin, Texas. His rounds of 74–74–71 produced a 3-over 219 total, with Paige Hood, of Atlanta, Ga., finishing runner-up.
