John Kim’s second consecutive SCGA One-Day Series Player of the Year season ended with a new achievement: his first championship title.
Kim defeated Bob Modrich, 5 and 4, at Temecula Creek GC, winning three matches without needing to play the 18th hole. His most decisive performance came in the final, where he pulled away from the 2017 champion with three back-nine hole victories.
