Peter Samborsky II completed a rare championship double at Dayton Country Club, winning both the Miami Valley Golf Mid-Amateur Metropolitan Championship and Senior Championship with matching rounds of 69.
Samborsky finished the 36-hole championship at 2-under 138, the only player across the two divisions to break par for the tournament. The victory also marked his second Mid-Amateur Metropolitan title.
