Rice Planters: Stefan Brewer takes 2nd round lead

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (June 21, 2012) -- Stefan Brewer leads after second-round play at the 2012 Rice Planters Invitational at Snee Farm Country Club. Brewer fired a second-round 64 to accompany his first-round 69 and leads by one shot over Patrick Barrett (69-65--134), Thomas Bradshaw (66-68--134) and Michael Cromie (68-66--134). Brewer is hanging on tight atop a loaded leaderboard involving no less than nine players within striking distance heading into final-round play.
