Rice Planters Amateur
The Rice Planters Amateur has been a premier proving ground for rising stars since 1973, founded by Dick Horne after his visit to Niagara Falls' Porter Cup. Former champions include Brooks Koepka, Stewart Cink, Tom Lehman, and Hal Sutton—winners of 12 major championships and over 160 PGA Tour titles. This 54-hole invitational at Snee Farm draws an international field of approximately 80-90 elite amateurs competing for one of the top honors in southeastern amateur golf.
By invitation only; top 20 finishers from prior year receive automatic exemption; 5 additional spots available through qualifier
