Phillips Swift closes with 70 to claim Golden Isles by four

Swift, from Macon, Georgia, posted a 2-under 70 in the final round to finish at 16-under 200 and claim the 76th Golden Isles Invitational, one of coastal Georgia's most enduring amateur tournaments. His steady Saturday on the Donald Ross layout was enough to hold off a crowded field chasing him down the Donald Ross design that has tested elite amateurs since 1949.
