Brenda Kuehn of Asheville, NC, survived a tight finish to win the 28th Carolinas Women’s Senior Championship, prevailing in a playoff after three players completed 36 holes tied at 3-under 141.
Kuehn entered the final round with the lead after opening with a 3-under 69. She followed with an even-par 72 to set the clubhouse mark at 141, but Julie Streng of Greensboro, NC, and Pam Prescott of Piedmont, SC, both joined her at the top.
