Kobe Valociek of Kansas State and San Diego lead the individual and team competitions at the 2025 The Prestige at PGA West, the Greg Norman Course, in La Quinta, Calif.
Valociek, a Virginia Tech transfer, has shot rounds of 66-69 to get to 7-under and lead the field by a narrow margin of one shot. Valociek is currently ranked No. 235 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com U.S. Rankings.
Sam Renner of Washington State, Jake Hibbert of Florida Atlantic, and Collin Hodgkinson of Oregon State are all T2 at 6-under and will look to chase down Valociek in the final 18 holes.
Charles DeLong of Texas Tech, Ryan Abuan of San Diego, and Ethan Tseng of Northwestern are T5 at 5-under. 22 golfers are within five shots of the lead.
In the team competition, San Diego leads by six shots at 11-under heading into the final round. They have carded rounds of 281-276.
Kansas is in solo second place at 5-under, and Little Rock and Northwestern are T3 at 4-under. Princeton is in solo fifth place at 3-under to round out the top five.

Two-time PGA Tour winner Ludvig Aberg of Texas Tech is a three-time champion of the tournament, while Texas Tech is the defending team champion. Aberg won the Genesis Invitational this past weekend.
This is the 25th iteration of the tournament and the 22nd year at PGA West.
The tournament has included U.S. Open Champions Wyndham Clark, Jon Rahm, and Gary Woodland and 2023 Ryder Cup participants Ludvig Aberg, Victor Hovland, Jon Rahm, Sam Burns, Clark, Max Homa, and Xander Schauffele.
