Kale Waaso fires course-record 63 to take four-shot Arizona Stroke Play lead

Waaso, who opened with a 5-under 66, made nine birdies against just one bogey on Friday to reach 13-under 129 through 36 holes. His record-setting round gave him a sizeable cushion heading into the final two rounds of the 72-hole championship.

Ben Keil of LaGrange is Waaso's closest challenger at 9-under 133. Keil followed his opening 65 with a 68 and sits alone in second, four strokes off the pace.
