Jeff Frazier added another milestone to a dominant season, defeating Jamie Slonis 2&1 to win the 19th Brewer Cup at Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia.
The victory gave Frazier his fourth Brewer Cup title and completed a sweep of all four GAP Senior Majors in the same season. He had already won the Francis B. Warner Cup, Frank H. Chapman Cup and Senior Amateur Championship.
Frazier and Slonis entered match play as the top two seeds after sharing medalist honors in qualifying, setting up a final between the top two players in the GAP Senior Player of the Year standings.
Championship Match
Slonis gained the early advantage with consecutive birdies at Nos. 9 and 10 to move 2-up. His birdie at the 10th came after recovering from the right tree line with a punch-cut 5-iron from 170 yards to 12 feet.
Frazier began his comeback at the 11th after Slonis missed his par attempt. Another Slonis three-putt at the par-3 13th brought the match back to all square.
Frazier took his first lead at the par-5 14th. After a strong drive, he hit a hybrid from 197 yards to 20 feet and made birdie to move 1-up.
The defending champion then protected his advantage with a five-foot par putt at the par-3 16th before closing out the match at No. 17. After finding the front bunker, Frazier played his 56-degree wedge to four feet and converted the par putt to seal a 2&1 victory.
The win continued Frazier's remarkable Brewer Cup record. He is now 16-2 in six appearances, with titles in 2020, 2021, 2025 and 2026.
Semifinals
Frazier reached the championship match with a commanding 6&5 victory over Adam Armagost of Little Mill Country Club.
Slonis had a tighter semifinal against Rick James of Five Ponds Golf Club. James holed out for eagle at the par-5 ninth, but Slonis pulled away late with birdies at Nos. 13 and 15 to secure a 3&2 victory.
Frazier then denied Slonis in the final to successfully defend his Brewer Cup crown and become the first player to capture the four Senior Majors in one season since the Brewer Cup was introduced in 2008.

Defending champion Jeff Frazier remains in the hunt for another title after advancing through the Round of 16 and quarterfinals of the 19th Brewer Cup at Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia.
Frazier is joined in the Senior semifinals by fellow stroke-play medalist Jamie Slonis, along with Rick James and Adam Armagost.
Senior Division
Slonis, who earned the No. 1 seed after sharing medalist honors with Frazier, opened match play with a 2 & 1 victory over Brian Groff of Lancaster Country Club.
His quarterfinal against Luis Diaz of Wedgwood Country Club proved considerably more challenging. Slonis fell 3-down during the match before beginning his comeback with a birdie at the par-5 ninth. He then won four consecutive holes from Nos. 11-14 to move 2-up and eventually closed out Diaz 3 & 2 with another birdie at the par-3 16th.
Slonis will face Rick James of Five Ponds Golf Club in Wednesday's first semifinal.
James had to fight through two close matches to get there. He trailed Matthew Mingione of The 1912 Club after losing three of his first four holes in the Round of 16 but recovered and made a 20-foot birdie at No. 18 to win 1-up.
James then went beyond 18 holes against Louis Giovacchini of USGA/GAP GC in the quarterfinals. After surrendering a late lead, James made par on the first extra hole and advanced when Giovacchini was unable to match him.
On the other side of the bracket, three-time champion Frazier began his title defense with a 2 & 1 victory over G. Patrick Dougherty of Philadelphia Cricket Club.
He followed that by defeating John Barry of Lancaster Country Club 3 & 1 in the quarterfinals to book another Brewer Cup semifinal appearance.
Frazier is attempting to become the first player to capture all four GAP Senior Majors in the same season, having already won the Warner Cup Senior, Chapman Cup Senior and GAP Senior Amateur Championship in 2026.
His semifinal opponent will be Adam Armagost of Little Mill Country Club. Armagost defeated Ryan Gelrod 2 & 1 in the Round of 16 before edging Neil Gordon of Doylestown Country Club 1-up in the quarterfinals. Armagost moved ahead at No. 12 and protected the advantage with matching pars over the closing holes.

The winners will advance to the championship match later Wednesday.
Smeraglio advances in Super Senior
Stroke-play medalist Glenn Smeraglio also advanced to the semifinals in the Super Senior Division after defeating Don Donatoni 2-up in a matchup carrying significance beyond the Brewer Cup.
Neither player led by more than one until Smeraglio, representing LuLu Country Club, made a 25-foot birdie at the par-3 16th to go 2-up. Donatoni pulled one back at No. 17, but Smeraglio secured the match on the final hole.
The victory also secured Smeraglio the GAP Super Senior Player of the Year honor, with nine-time winner Donatoni having been his closest challenger in the season-long race.
Smeraglio will next face Joe Roeder of Merion Golf Club, the 2022 Brewer Cup Senior champion. Roeder advanced with a 5 & 4 victory over Christopher Clauson.
The other semifinal features Oscar Mestre of Overbrook Golf Club against Doug Fedoryshyn of Applecross Country Club. Mestre advanced past Joe Russo in a close match, while Fedoryshyn moved through against Thomas Egolf.

For Smeraglio, a two-match final day would offer the opportunity to add a first Brewer Cup title to a GAP résumé that already includes two Patterson Cups, two Warner Cups, three Silver Cross Awards and a Senior Amateur Championship.

Defending champion Jeff Frazier and Jamie Slonis continued their strong runs of form by sharing Senior Division medalist honors in stroke-play qualifying at the 19th Brewer Cup at Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia.
Frazier, representing Carlisle Country Club, and Slonis of Tavistock Country Club each posted even-par 71s on the par-71, 6,363-yard layout. Both balanced three birdies with three bogeys on a windy opening day.
A blind draw gave Slonis the No. 1 seed for the 16-player match-play bracket, with Frazier seeded second.
Slonis arrives in match play after recently reaching the knockout stage of the U.S. Senior Amateur and winning the New Jersey Golf Senior Amateur. Frazier's form has been equally impressive. He won his second consecutive GAP Senior Amateur last week and secured a third straight Senior Silver Cross Award and third Senior Player of the Year honor.
Frazier is also chasing a significant milestone this week. The three-time Brewer Cup champion, with victories in 2020, 2021 and 2025, has already won the Warner Cup Senior, Chapman Cup Senior and Senior Amateur Championship this season. Another Brewer Cup victory would complete a sweep of all four GAP Senior Majors in the same year.
Ryan Gelrod of Philadelphia Cricket Club finished qualifying one behind the co-medalists with a 1-over 72, while P. Chet Walsh of Philadelphia Country Club shot 3-over 74. Mark Wachter, Neil Gordon and Matthew Mingione were among those at 4-over 75.
The Senior cut fell at 7-over 78, with Brian Groff of Lancaster Country Club taking the final match-play spot by birdieing the first hole of a three-for-one playoff. His reward is an opening-round meeting with top-seeded Slonis.
Smeraglio leads Super Senior qualifying
Glenn Smeraglio of LuLu Country Club led the Super Senior Division with a 1-over 72 on the 5,901-yard setup, earning the No. 1 seed in the eight-player match-play bracket.
The 66-year-old, a multiple GAP champion and reigning Pennsylvania Golf Association Super Senior Player of the Year, played his opening nine in even par and made three birdies during the round.
Joe Russo of Wedgwood Country Club and Thomas Egolf of Southmoore Golf Center shared second at 3-over 74.
The qualifying cut came at 4-over 75, with Don Donatoni, Oscar Mestre, Joe Roeder, Doug Fedoryshyn and Christopher Clauson all reaching that number. Smeraglio will face No. 8 seed Donatoni in the quarterfinals.
The matchup carries additional significance in the season-long standings. Smeraglio currently leads Donatoni in the GAP Super Senior Player of the Year race as he pursues the honor for the first time.
Named for accomplished amateur O. Gordon Brewer Jr., the Brewer Cup brings together Senior and Super Senior competitors in stroke-play qualifying before shifting to match play to determine the champions.
The tournament honors O. Gordon Brewer Jr., a two-time U.S. Senior Amateur champion, and features a unique format: an 18-hole stroke-play qualifier followed by match play for the top 16 in the Senior Flight and top eight in the Super-Senior Division.
This year's edition nearly didn't happen. Rain wreaked havoc on the original July championship, leading to a full cancellation when the opening round at Trump National was halted with no scores recorded and conditions continued to deteriorate. The GAP rescheduled for mid-September, and the field finally got a clean start.
Coverage ongoing. Match play brackets and results will be added as rounds are completed through Wednesday's finals. The Senior Division will play through to a champion from the field of 16, while the Super-Senior bracket features eight qualifiers.
Open to member club golfers age 55 and older with a USGA index of 7.0 or lower, the Brewer Cup field included 36 spots reserved for the Super-Senior Division in the 144-player qualifying draw.
