Scott Hval of Sunriver, OR, completed an impressive run through match play with a 3 & 2 victory over Russell Humphrey to win the Oregon Senior Amateur Championship at Oswego Lake Country Club.
Hval began the championship with a 3-over 74 in stroke-play qualifying, earning the No. 11 seed for the 32-player match-play bracket. From there, he won five consecutive matches to claim the title.
