Georgia Match Play Championship: Griffin Latimer takes the title

Griffin Latimer had to get through one of the toughest tests of the week before he could hoist the trophy.

The Canton, Ga., native rallied from a two-hole deficit to defeat 2019 U.S. Senior Amateur champion Bob Royak, 1 up, in a memorable semifinal, then topped Georgia Tech standout Mitch Kim, 2 and 1, in the championship match to capture the Georgia Amateur Match Play Championship.
