Jones finished T3 last year at the state amateur, and used that experience to help him finish on top this year

After finishing T3 at the 2023 Wisconsin Amateur, Garrett Jones won the 2024 Wisconsin Amateur Championship at The Legend at Merrill Hills in Waukesha, Wis.

Jones finished 71-71-69-73 to get to even par and win by two shots. He was the only golfer to finish at even par, and no golfers finished under par for the week.

Jones was standing on the No. 18 tee at 2-under but made a double bogey on the final hole to win by one shot.

He recorded the most birdies in the field at 16.

Joe DuChateau finished in solo second place at 1-over, and Ross Thomson finished in solo third place at 2-over. Drake Wilcox finished in solo fourth place at 4-over, and Ben Skogan and Bennett Swavely finished T5 at 5-over.
