The Columbus player fired a final-round 67 to finish at 16-under par and capture the Robert H. Martin Trophy at Sea Island.

Evan Rogers of Duluth captured the 105th Georgia Amateur Championship at Ocean Forest Golf Club, pulling away from the field with a final-round 68 to finish at 10-under-par 278. The 19-year-old entered the final day with a three-shot lead and never relinquished control, closing with one of the lowest rounds of the championship to secure an eight-shot victory. Rogers opened the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 69 before adding a 72 in the third round and his championship-clinching 68 on Sunday.

Rogers' final round showcased the steady play that defined his week. After making the turn in 37, he caught fire on the inward nine, posting a 5-under-par 31 highlighted by birdies on Nos. 10, 12, 15, 17, and 18. The late surge turned what had been a comfortable lead into a dominant performance. He played the final 18 holes without a bogey and was the only player in the field to reach double digits under par.
