Taylor Bellemare captures second Vermont Mid-Am title with 3-and-1 victory

Taylor Bellemare of Manchester captured his second Vermont Mid-Amateur Championship, defeating Andrew Kimbell of Woodstock, Vt., 3 and 1 in the championship match at Rutland Country Club.

Bellemare, who previously won the title in 2022, started quickly with a birdie at the first. Kimbell answered with a par at the third to square the match, but Bellemare regained the lead at No. 5 and never trailed again.
