Five amateurs will tee it up at Augusta National this week for the Master's Tournament.
U.S. Amateur runner-up Neal Shipley of Ohio State, British Amateur champion Christo Lamprecht of Georgia Tech, U.S. Mid-Amateur champion Stewart Hagestad, Latin America Amateur champion Santiago De La Fuente, and Asia-Pacific Amateur champion Jasper Stubbs
Usually, the U.S. Amateur winner and the NCAA Division I Individual champion receive an exemption as well, but Nick Dunlap and Fred Biondi have since turned pro. Dunlap will be playing this week after winning on the PGA Tour this season.
Lamprecht is the No. 5 ranked player in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings, and Hagestad is the No. 3 ranked player in the AmateurGolf.com Mid-Amateur Rankings.
