The Aggies defended their title by 17 shots, shooting 31-under and beating Sam Houston, who finished solo-second place at 14-under par.

Entering the final round with a one-shot lead at 11-under par, Maichon was pursued closely by Thomson at 10-under. Maichon completed his second bogey-free round of the tournament, registering seven birdies in the final round to card a 7-under 65. His total score of 18-under 198 equaled the tournament record set by former teammate Sam Bennett in 2022.
Maichon secured the title with rounds of 64-69-65, finishing at 18-under par and establishing an all-time record for the largest margin of victory with an 8-shot lead. In contrast, Thomson concluded with rounds of 68-66-72, securing a runner-up finish at 10-under par.
This is Maichon's second career collegiate victory, adding to his 2023 Bearkat Invitational title.
