The Rebels won the team title by five shots, while Luke Clanton of Florida State birdied No. 18 to win the individual title
Ole Miss shot an impressive 13-under to win the 2024 Seminole Intercollegiate at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla. The Rebels defeated host school Florida State by five shots, with the Seminoles finishing at 8-under and in solo second place.
Ole Miss shot rounds of 290-276-285 to get to 13-under. The Seminoles led Ole Miss by one shot entering the final round. Both Florida State and Ole Miss shot 12-under 276 in the second round to pull away from the field.
VCU finished in solo third place at 1-over, and Indiana and Arkansas finished T4 at 17-over. Stetson and Mississippi State finished T6 at 31-over and Southern Illinois finished in solo eighth place at 32-over.
Last year, Florida State finished 14-under to win the Seminole Intercollegiate, 38 shots better than second-place North Alabama.
In the individual competition, Luke Clanton of Florida State birdied his final hole to win the championship by one shot over teammate Tyler Weaver. Clanton finished at 11-under, with Weaver finishing in solo second place at 10-under.
Clanton shot rounds of 70-65-70 to win the tournament.
The Rebels littered the top of the leaderboard, with Michael La Sasso finishing in solo third place at 6-under, Kye Meeks finishing T4 at 5-under, Cameron Tankersley finished T6 at 4-under, and Tim Tillmanns finished in solo seventh place at 2-under.
Clanton finished T2 at this tournament last year behind teammate Gray Albright. He also won the 2023 NCAA Division I West Regional, made the round of 32 at the North & South Amateur, and made the round of 64 at the U.S. Amateur. In 2024, he finished T11 at the Jones Cup, T8 at the Amer Ari Invitational, and T7 at the Watersound Invitational.
He is currently ranked No. 7 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings and is the highest-ranked player in the field.
