About the tournament
The Illinois State Amateur Championship returns to Crestwicke Country Club in Bloomington for 72 holes of stroke play over three days. Illinois residents must advance through an 18-hole qualifier, with the top 35 and ties after round two earning a spot in Thursday's 36-hole finale. Beyond lifting the Louis L. Emmerson Trophy, this year’s champion will also earn an automatic exemption into the U.S. Amateur Championship at Merion Golf Club.
