The 124th Western Amateur Championship is the third-oldest amateur event in the world and widely considered the most grueling test outside the U.S. Amateur. The format combines 72 holes of stroke play to cut to the Sweet Sixteen, followed by four rounds of match play over two days to crown the champion.
