The European Boys' Team Championship, also known as the Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy, is a prestigious amateur team golf tournament for male players aged 18 and under, organized by the European Golf Association. First held in 1980, the championship has become an annual fixture on the European junior golf calendar. Since the discontinuation of the European Youths' Team Championship for players under 22 in 2006, the European Boys' Team Championship has emerged as the premier junior team event in Europe outside the British Isles. Many of Europe's top professional golfers have competed in this event early in their careers, including nearly every European major champion since 2010, such as Graeme McDowell, Justin Rose, Martin Kaymer, Sergio Garcia, Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Danny Willett, Francesco Molinari, Jon Rahm, Shane Lowry, and Matt Fitzpatrick. Additionally, the championship plays a key role in the qualification process for the Junior Ryder Cup.
