European Girls' Team Championship
The European Girls' Team Championship is an amateur team golf tournament for women under 18, organized by the European Golf Association. First held in 1991, it initially took place in odd-numbered years but has been an annual event since 1999. After the European Lady Junior's Team Championship for women under 22 was discontinued in 2006, this event became the top junior team competition in Europe outside the British Isles. Many of Europe's leading female professionals have participated in the championship early in their careers, including almost every European winner of LPGA Tour events since 2014. It also serves as a key qualification event for the Junior Solheim Cup.
