GORDONSVILLE, Va. (June 25, 2014) -- Adam Ball fired two straight 6-under 66s to take qualifying medalist honors at the 2014 Virginia State Amateur.
At Spring Creek Golf Club, Ball topped the field by four shots to win medalist honors and claim the top qualifying seed heading into the start of match play on Thursday.
Conner Hayden (68-68) and Jordan Utley (66-70) tied for second during stroke-play.
Scott Shingler was fourth after rounds of 71-67.
The top 32 qualifiers move on to match play, beginning Thursday morning.
