ELVERSON, PA (September 16, 2016) -- On Thursday Stewart Hagestad had one of the most remarkable performances in U.S. Mid-Amateur history. Trailing 4 down with six holes to go, Hagestad rallied to defeat Scott Harvey and claim his first U.S. Mid-Amateur title.

After tying the match on the 36th hole, Hagestad completed the largest comeback in 36-hole match play history with a birdie on the 37th hole.
