The championship matches are set at the San Francisco City

Angelo Marcon will face Mitchell Hoey in the men's division while Nicole Iniakov will face Lana Yamagata in the women's division

After three weeks of golf, the San Francisco City at TPC Harding Park is coming to a close this weekend.

Saint Mary's golfer and Alamo, Calif., native Mitchell Hoey will take on former Notre Dame golfer Angelo Marcon in the final match on Sunday.

Hoey defeated Eli Weidmann in the semifinals after Weidmann used an early eagle to propel him to a win in his quarterfinal match over 2024 runner-up AJ Fitzgerald. Hoey also won the 2025 AGC Pacific Grove Championship.

Marcon upset stroke play qualifying co-medalist Jack Hayden of Dublin, Calif., in the final four to earn his spot in the final match.

The Santa Clara freshman survived his first match against Roshan Chandra in 19 holes and then defeated Sean Etow 3 and 2. Hayden defeated Michael Perchak in the round of 16 and Joshua Wang in the quarterfinals before falling to Marcon in the semifinals.

He was the co-medalist along with his brother and teammate at Santa Clara, Joey Hayden.

In the Women's Championship Division, 2024 stroke play qualifying medalist and incoming Harvard freshman Nicole Iniakov will face Lana Yamagata in the final match. Iniakov defeated Lauren Gebauer in the semifinals. Gebauer, an Orinda, Calif., resident, was the 2023 NCGA Women's Player of the Year and is a practicing dermatologic surgeon.

Iniakov recently won the Phoenix Junior Open, and Yamagata is heading to UNLV in the fall. In the semifinals, Yamagata defeated Wa Yeung Tong, a collegiate golfer at CSU Monterey Bay.

In the men's Senior Championship Division, Robert Funk, the 2025 qualifying medalist, will face Steve Johnson in the championship match. In the semifinals, Funk defeated Craig Miyamoto, who won the 2024 AmateurGolf.Com Winter Invitational, and Johnson defeated Joseph Schiebold 2up.

In the men's Super Senior Division, Matt Vukevich, the 2024 defending champion, defeated Ray Kong in 19 holes in the semifinals, a rematch of last year's final. Vukevich will face Jeff Duncan in the final match. Duncan defeated Jim Williams in the semifinals, the medalist at the Super Senior Qualifying for back-to-back years.

In the women's Senior Championship, the top two seeds will battle for the championship, as No. 1 seed Kate Zhang and No. 2 seed Melissa Spencer made the final match.
