South Dakota Amateur: Arron Lickteig wins title

YANKTON, SD (August 14, 2016) -- Arron Lickteig, 5-under-par, was the only player to finish in red figures as he won the South Dakota Amateur at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. Lickteig, a redshirt junior at Wyoming, put together rounds of 69-70-72 throughout the week on the par-72 layout. This past season for Wyoming, Lickteig played in all but one tournament and twice finished in the top-20. Parker Klitzke was 1-over and in second place, Mitch Schlingman at 2-over was third, in fourth was Brandon Sigmund at 4-over while Jesse Talcott was 5-over in fifth.
