Shi Hyun Kim shot 17-under 196 following her rounds of 67-62-67 to register a dominating six-shot win at the 5th Dream Park Amateur Cup Championship held at Dream Park Country Club in Incheon, South Korea.
Kim entered the final round with a two-stroke lead after a record-setting 9-under 62 in her second round, bringing her 36-hole total to 13-under.
In the final round, she delivered a flawless 4-under 67, extending her lead and securing a six-shot victory. Seun Lee, the closest contender, finished six strokes behind Kim with an impressive final round of 66, but it wasn’t enough to challenge for the title.

In 2024, Shihyun Kim participated in 10 ranked events, achieving four top-10 finishes. Notably, she was the runner-up at the Taiwan Amateur and placed fourth at the Queen Sirikit Cup in New Zealand before securing her first win of the season in Korea.
Defending champion Minsol Kim turned professional last week, rendering her ineligible for the tournament.
In the men’s category, Yoo Min-Hyeok triumphed over Seonghyeon An in a playoff to claim the title. Yu Min-Hyeok recorded rounds of 67-68-68, while Seonghyeon An posted scores of 67-65-71, leading to a tie at 13-under after 54 holes and necessitating a playoff.
