The senior amateur season still has plenty to offer as the calendar turns toward winter. From invitationals in Georgia and Texas to California championships and a South Florida finish, the next three months include a strong mix of individual titles, team competition and events with a national following.
This watch list covers October 7, 2026, through January 6, 2027, with a focus on U.S. men’s senior amateur majors and ranking events. It is an editorial selection, not a numerical ranking, and eligibility varies by tournament.
Schedule note: Dates below reflect AmateurGolf.com’s current records. Five events carry estimated dates and are marked provisional. Confirm those dates with the organizer before entering or booking travel.
International Senior Invitational
October 8–10
Cartersville Country Club • Cartersville, Georgia
The opening stop combines team pride with an individual title. Three-player teams represent states and countries, with two scores counting each day. Invitations draw on world amateur rankings and recent tournament performance, and the 54-hole individual competition gives players another championship to chase.
Two Rivers Senior Invitational
October 11–13
Two Rivers Country Club • Williamsburg, Virginia
Two Rivers follows with 54 holes of stroke play and senior, super-senior and legends competition. First played in 2009, the event limits its field to 80 players selected by the tournament committee. Its senior division begins at age 50, an eligibility detail worth checking for players entering the senior circuit.
Ojai Senior Cup
October 16–18
Soule Park Golf Course • Ojai, California
Soule Park hosts a three-day, 54-hole championship with senior and super-senior divisions. Past champions include Tim Hogarth and Craig Steinberg, giving the Ojai Senior Cup a strong competitive pedigree. AmateurGolf.com lists it among its senior majors.
Carlton Woods Senior Invitational
October 26–28
The Club at Carlton Woods • The Woodlands, Texas
An invitation-only field heads to The Woodlands for 54 holes. The tournament’s senior division is for players 55 and older, alongside a mid-amateur division. Selection rests with the tournament committee, making this a championship to follow as well as a potential target for an invitation.
Reynolds Senior Invitational
October 26–28 — provisional
Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee • Eatonton, Georgia
Formerly the Geranium Senior Invitational, Reynolds brings national senior competition to Great Waters. The 54-hole format includes Senior, Super Senior, Legend and Grand Master divisions. The calendar currently lists October 26–28, but the dates remain estimated.
Golfweek Senior Desert Showdown

Society of Seniors members and committee-approved guests are eligible; registration is currently listed as closed.
California Senior Amateur
November 9–11 — provisional
Serrano Country Club • El Dorado Hills, California
California’s state championship offers another significant test for players 55 and older. The 54-hole competition has rotated among selected courses across the state since 2010. The listing names Serrano as the host, with November 9–11 still marked as estimated dates.
Society of Seniors Ralph Bogart
November 29–December 2 — provisional
Abacoa Golf Club • Jupiter, Florida
The late-fall schedule shifts to South Florida for a Society of Seniors members’ event listed among AmateurGolf.com’s senior majors. The 54-hole competition offers multiple age divisions, from Senior through Super Grand Master. The listed November 29–December 2 window remains provisional.
Dixie Senior & Mid-Master Invitational
December 9–11 — provisional
Eagle Trace Golf Club • Coral Springs, Florida
The Dixie is a familiar late-season destination, with Doug Hanzel and Brady Exber among its past champions. All three rounds of the 54-hole, no-cut event are played at Eagle Trace. Senior and super-senior divisions share the program with a mid-master division; the December 9–11 dates remain estimated.
A team option: Two Man Links & Father & Son at Torrey Pines
December 15–18 • San Diego, California
For players who want to close the year alongside a partner, AmateurGolf.com’s Two Man Links & Father & Son at Torrey Pines adds a different kind of competition. December 15 is arrival day, followed by tournament rounds December 16–18 at Torrey Pines North, Torrey Pines South and Coronado.
The 54-hole best-ball event welcomes two-person teams and includes a senior bonus for the lowest gross score among teams with both players age 55 or older.
Looking ahead: Lupton’s return
The John T. Lupton Memorial Senior Invitational is excluded from this three-month selection. Its 2026 event was postponed as The Honors Course prepared to host the U.S. Women’s Amateur. The tournament is set to return in 2027, but dates have not been announced; the January 1–3 calendar entry should not be treated as a confirmed schedule.
