UNCW is in solo third place, NC State is in solo fourth place, and Charlotte is in solo fifth place.
In the individual competition, Sebastian Moss of Louisville leads the way at 7-under. Moss had an average first round, shooting a 1-over 73, but got hot in the second round and shot an 8-under 64.
Moss actually started his second round with a bogey to fall to 2-over, but after that, he made nine birdies in 17 holes to shoot the 64, including four birdies in a row on Holes No. 7-10. He also made three birdies on Par-3's.
Moss recently claimed his first collegiate victory at the Bearcat Invitational.

Randall Hudson of UNCG and Nick Mathews of NC State are tied for second place at 5-under. Max Kennedy of Louisville, Walter Isley of UNCW, and Luke Sample of Duke are tied in fourth place at 4-under.
The Invitational, held at Duke University Golf Club in Durham, N.C., is named after former Duke coach Rod Myers.
Myers is a legend in the collegiate golf world. At Duke, Myers coached 16 All-Americas, nine Academic All-Americas, 24 All-ACC selections, and three ACC individual champions.
He also guided the Blue Devils to 30 tournament wins and seven trips to the NCAA Championships. He came to the Blue Devils in the fall of 1973 after serving as head golf coach at Ohio State for seven years.
During his tenure with the Buckeyes, he coached five All-America honorees and led Ohio State to prominence in the Big Ten and in the NCAA, including a best finish of sixth at the 1970 NCAA Championships.
Myers' first coaching position was at the University of Maryland, where he served as a physical education instructor, assistant golf professional, and associate golf coach for three years.
