Bayou City Collegiate Classic: Rice rallies to successfully defend title

Rice erased its final-round deficit to successfully defend the Bayou City Collegiate Classic title at Westwood Golf Club in Houston, TX, holding off a late charge from Sam Houston for a two-shot victory.

The Owls posted rounds of 279, 287 and 284 to finish at 14-under 850. Rice entered the final round in second place before a closing 4-under 284 moved it to the top of the leaderboard.
