Portugal's Vitor Londot Lopes wins Portuguese Int'l Am

Vitor Londot Lopes poured in 20 birdies and eagled once during the 72-hole tournament at Montado Golf Resort

PALMELA, Portugal (February 17, 2018) - With rounds of 68-68-69-68 Portugal's Vitor Londot Lopes has won the Portuguese International Amateur hosted by Montado Golf Resort. 15-under for the week Lopes did most of his damage on the par-5's playing them in 12-under for the tournament. During the week Lopes birdied 20 times, eagled once while bogeying only three-times and double-bogeying on two occasions. In the final round highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 7th Lopes poured in four birdies, including three during a four hole stretch from Nos. 14-17 while bogeying twice. Sebastian Friedrichsen (Denmark), Bailey Gill (England) and Benjamin Jones (England) shared second at 12-under, in fifth it was Jorge Maicas (Spain) at 11-under.
