NOW PLAYING: The Southwestern Amateur at Desert Mountain

The dual field event includes a women's division that kicks off the Elite Amateur Women's Golf Series

The SWGA welcomes 72 men and 72 women to Desert Mountain for the 111th Southwestern Amateur Championship. The 2026 field will represent 28 U.S. states and 18 countries. In all, 22 men and 28 women contestants have won a WAGR-ranked tournament in the past year. Here is a breakdown of the field for the 2026 Southwestern Men’s and Women’s Amateur Championships.



USGA Champions: Natalie Yen (2025 U.S. Women’s Four-Ball), Sarah Lim (2024 U.S. Women’s Four-Ball)

USGA runner-up: Brynn Kort (2024 U.S. Women’s Four-Ball)

U.S. Open participant: Alexander Yang (2023)

U.S. Women’s Open participants: Sofia Rivera (2026), Jude Lee (2025), Nicha Kanpai (2025), Sarah Lim (2025), Amelie Zalsman (2024), Kaili Xiao (2023), Sophie Linder (2023), Kylee Choi (2022)
