Penny and Tom Walch
Penny and Tom Walch made their opening-round advantage count at Poppy Hills, holding off Sayaka Moriya and John Jones by one stroke to cap another successful NCGA Mixed Team Series season.
The Walches followed their opening 62 with a 2-under 69 to finish at 11-under 131. Moriya and Jones applied pressure with a second consecutive 66, but their final-round gain of three strokes left them just short.
