Michigan delivered a dominant performance at Sage Run Golf Club, finishing at 41-under 823 to win the Island Resort Intercollegiate by 25 shots.
The Wolverines posted rounds of 274-273-276, with all five starters finishing the tournament under par. The victory was Michigan's second in as many starts this season and marked the program's first back-to-back tournament wins in 18 years.
West Virginia finished a distant second at 16-under 848, while North Texas was third at 13-under 851. Saint Mary's and UCF shared fourth at 12-under 852.
Michigan's dominance was reflected in the tournament statistics. The Wolverines led the field with 69 birdies, nine more than second-place West Virginia. They were particularly effective on the par 5s, playing them in 30-under with a 4.50 scoring average. Michigan also led the field in par-4 scoring at 7-under, averaging 3.95.
The Wolverines also occupied the top two positions on the individual leaderboard.
Junior RJ Arone posted three rounds in the 60s, shooting 66-67-69 to win his first collegiate title at 14-under 202. Arone recorded 16 birdies against just two bogeys over 54 holes, and his total tied for the fourth-lowest 54-hole score in Michigan history.
Freshman Spencer Shropshire finished two shots behind in his collegiate debut at 12-under 204, closing with a bogey-free 68 after rounds of 69 and 67. It marked Michigan's first outright 1-2 individual finish since the 2021 Macdonald Cup.
Vinny Cervantes of Marquette and Samuel Baumuller of Saint Mary's shared third at 11-under 205, while UCF's Camden Goldknopf finished fifth at 10-under 206.
Michigan's Dean Muratore added another top-10 finish at 6-under 210, while season-opening Virtues Intercollegiate champion Nilay Naik tied for 11th at 5-under 211.
Arone's victory also gave Michigan individual medalists in consecutive tournaments, matching the team's back-to-back winning start to the season.
