Fred Meyer of Lexington Country Club closed with a 2-over 74 to capture the Daniel Boone Invitational by five shots at 13-under 203. After opening with a tournament-record 62 and a bogey-free 67, Meyer stumbled on the back nine Sunday, but his cushion easily held.
Gresham Wilson of Keene Trace Golf Club finished second at 8-under 208 (67-68-73). AJ Agnew posted 72 for third at 5-under 211, while A.J. Hovermale shot 72 to finish fourth at 3-under 213. Peyton Bonny and Max Terrell tied for fifth at even-par 216, with Bonny's 68 marking Sunday's low round in the Gold Division.
