PINE VALLEY, N.J. (Sept. 30, 2012) -- Michael McCoy wowed throughout stroke-play qualifying. But when it came to match play at the 2012 Crump Cup at prestigious Pine Valley Golf Club, it was another Michael who shined.
Michael McDermott of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania won the 88th Annual Crump Memorial Tournament at Pine Valley Golf Club.
He defeated Kevin Marsh of Henderson, Nevada 2-and-1 in the final.
McDermott defeated Gene Elliott West Des Moines, Iowa in 19 holes in the semi-final match.
Marsh defeated Michael McCoy of West Des Moines, Iowa in the semi-finals. Bob Kain of Cleveland, Ohio defeated Michael Domenick of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania 4 and 3.
