Keperra Bowl: Queenslanders Billy Dowling and Justice Bosio win the titles

Dowling and Bosio continue to impress on the national circuit.

Billy Dowling and Justice Bosio clinched individual titles for men and women at the Keperra Bowl Championship played out at Keperra Country Golf Club in Queensland, Australia.

Dowling of Queensland delivered an impressive performance, finishing with an impressive 6-under-par total. His rounds of 70-78-67-67 secured his victory by a one-shot margin over fellow Queenslander Lincoln Morgan. Morgan's rounds of 72-64-74-73 resulted in a 5-under total of 283, earning him the runner-up position.

Notably, Dowling, who recently clinched victories at the Queensland Amateur in August and the Gary Player Classic in September, has now added the Keperra Bowl Championship to his growing list of achievements, winning three tournaments in his last six appearances.

On the women's side, Justice Bosio, no stranger to the winner's circle, replicated her 2022 success by posting a 5-under total of 283 with rounds of 69-68-72-74.

Her performance allowed her to secure victory with a comfortable four-stroke lead over Hannah Reeves of Brisbane, who shot a 1-under 287 with rounds of 70-72-76-69, securing the runner-up position.

Adding to her recent victories, Bosio claimed the South Australian Amateur championship at Kooyonga Golf Club in Lockleys, Australia, just two weeks prior.

Bosio, who has twice been a runner-up at the Australian Amateur, will be at the World Amateur Team Championships (WATC) from October 25th to 28th, hosted at the National Course of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
