Tennessee Women’s Mid-Amateur: Jesse Lawley claims third title

Lawley, the head women’s golf coach at Maryville College, entered the final day with a two-shot advantage after opening with a 78. She added a 3-over 39 over the final nine holes, including birdies at the 12th and 15th, to finish at 9-over 117 and win by four shots.

The victory added to Lawley’s back-to-back Mid-Amateur titles in 2019 and 2020. She now holds four Tennessee Golf Association titles overall, including a 2020 Women’s Four-Ball title with Ashleigh Whisenant.
