Jaden Dumdumaya's closing round at Poppy Ridge Golf Course wasn't pretty, but it got the job done. The defending champion navigated a tense back nine to card a 1-under 69 and claim his second consecutive Pacific Coast Amateur title, finishing at 12-under 268 and two clear of Deitrek Gill.

The margin masked the drama. Dumdumaya absorbed a double bogey at the par-4 13th, but immediately answered with what may have been the shot of his week — a difficult bunker save from distance on the par-3 14th. He stuck it to 10 feet and converted the par.
