The win came at the European Nations Sotagrande Cup in 2014, where he defeated a field that included Bradley Neil, who won the British Amateur that same year. (Neil has since turned pro).
Today at Montado Resort, Migliozzi posted a perfect scorecard with six birdies and not a single bogey. Starting at the 10th, he eased into five- straight pars before lighting it up with birdies on Nos. 15-17. On the front nine, he birdied the first two (that's five birdies in six holes) and he would add another at the par-4 6th.

In two days, Migliozzi hasn't made a bogey; but he did suffer a double the first round.
Giving chase are Owen Edwards of Wales and Zacharias Agerbak. Both players are two back at 5-under. Edwards, like Migliozzi, had a perfect second round card. Agerbak's was a little more exciting -- after posting even par on his first nine (the back) he made the turn and recorded 5 birdies against no bogeys for a nifty 31 coming home. Look out for this young man from Denmark.
Edwards is just back from a trip to Australia, where he finished in the final 32 at the Australian Amateur and in the final 16 of the New South Wales Amateur. He ranks 324 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings, while Agerbak, who has risen through the European junior rankings, isn't on our radar ... yet.
